London - Celltick Technologies, a marketing agency that promotes content and brands over the idle screens of mobile phones, has raised an additional $8.5 million of venture capital financing, led by Amadeus Capital Partners and Jerusalem Venture Partners.

Founded in 2000, London-based Celltick's LiveScreen Media lets content providers and advertisers broadcast targeted content and marketing messages to idle mobile phone screens.

The service is live with over 25 wireless carriers.

Celltick will use the funds to expand its LiveScreen platform services.
