Los Angeles - News Corp.'s (NYSE: NWS) MySpace on Friday announced that it will debut the first 8-minute episode of its 36-episode original Internet series, "Quarterlife," on Sunday. New episodes will thereafter be posted every Sunday and Thursday. The series follows a twenty-something girl whose video blog spills the secrets of her friends. "We believe that Internet content can be just as creative and engaging as what you see on TV and in the movies, and that's what we set out to accomplish in creating 'quarterlife,' the first network-quality show to air online," said show co-creator Marshall Herskovitz.
