Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo said on Friday that the New York Daily News, the fifth largest newspaper in the U.S., has become the largest newspaper to join its Newspaper Consortium. A year ago, Yahoo partnered with more than 150 daily papers to deliver search, graphical and classified advertising to consumers in local communities. The Consortium has since tripled in size to now include 21 newspaper companies, representing close to 400 daily newspapers.
