Charlottesville, Va. - Musictoday, a unit of Live Nation (NYSE: LYV), on Thursday announced the launch of a Web store application for the Facebook social network, that lets artists with Facebook Pages sell merchandise directly to fans. Artists must first set up an account with Musictoday, which enables stores, Web ticketing, and other services for clients including the Rolling Stones, Eminem, Dave Matthews Band and Nine Inch Nails.
