Tech Blog Publisher GigaOmniMedia Raises $1 Million

Los Angeles - GigaOmniMedia, the publisher of blogs including NewTeeVee and GigaOM, has raised about $1 million in its second round of venture capital financing, from True Ventures and several angel investors, Beet.tv reports.

Founded in 2006, the company operates five technology news blogs with a monthly audience of 1.5 million, and also produces complementary events.

The funding announcement was made at the first NewTeeVee conference in San Francisco.
