Seattle - Broadband video publishing firm thePlatform, a subsidiary of Comcast, said on Tuesday that Gannett (NYSE: GCI) will use its back-end management system for publishing online video on the websites for its TV stations, newspapers and other holdings. The company's technology will also serve as the central distribution hub to syndicate video content among Gannett's numerous destination websites, including USAToday.com.
