Social Network Voice Services Provider Iotum Lands Investment

Ottawa, Canada - Iotum, a provider of voice services for social networks, announced that it has received a new investment from Verdexus.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2003, Ottawa, Canada-based Iotum offers services that include free conference calls on the Facebook social network, and free, on-demand conference calls for BlackBerry and other mobile users.

The company said it will use the investment to fund ongoing operations.
