Reston, Va. - Avail Media, a provider of IPTV and
other media services to broadband operators, announced on Thursday that it has
raised $25 million in its second round of venture capital financing.
First-time
investor Valhalla Partners joined Columbia Capital, Novak Biddle Venture
Partners and Pioneer Ventures in the round.
Founded in early 2007 through the merger
of Auroras Entertainment and Broadstream Communications, Virginia-based Avail provides
IPTV delivery services for broadband operators.
The company offers a content library of
over 300 channels from programmers including ABC-Disney, Turner, NBC Universal,
MTV Networks and Fox Networks.
