Social Network College Tonight Completes Merger, Raises $1.6M

Atlanta - College Tonight, an online social network and marketing platform, announced on Thursday that it has completed its merger with Simex Technologies (NASD: SMXT), and as part of the transaction, raised $1.6 million in equity capital through private placements.

Atlanta-based College Tonight is now a subsidiary of Simex, whose stock trades on the pink sheets.

College Tonight's social network aims to promote real-world social interactivity among college students, and integrates mobile access to information on nightlife events and other activities on campus and within college towns.
