Denver, Colo. - Buzzwire, a provider of mobile
streaming audio, video and radio services, announced on Wednesday that it has
raised $8 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by new
investor Sequel Venture Partners.
Previous investors Matrix Partners and Spark
Capital also participated.

Buzzwire said the new funding will allow the company to move from planning and
testing its service to deployments with major carriers in the U.S. and
overseas.
Buzzwire CEO Andrew MacFarlane says the company has a deal in place
to deploy its service with "one of the top U.S. carriers."
