Chinese Video-Sharing Site 56.com Raises $20 Million

Los Angeles - 56.com, a video-sharing website in China, has raised $20 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Hikari Private Equity, VentureBeat reported.

Susquehanna International Group China, Adobe Systems Incorporated, CID Capital, Sequoia Capital and Disney's (NYSE: DIS) Steamboat Ventures also participated.

56.com claims 30 million registered users, and is seeing about 60,000 new videos uploaded each day, the company's president, Jay Chang, told VentureBeat.
