London - Disney's (NYSE: DIS) Internet group said this week that it will launch a dedicated site in the U.K. next week that will showcase its movies, music, video games and community offerings, Reuters reported.

Like its U.S. counterpart, Disney.co.uk will allow kids to customize the offering of video clips and communicate with one another, under a range of parental controls.

The company plans to launch similar dedicated sites in other regions.

"We are looking to the continent not surprisingly so we will be looking to France, Italy, Germany and Spain for our next rollouts," Cindy Rose, head of Walt Disney Internet Group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, told Reuters.
