Washington - REVShare, a provider of cost-per-action TV advertising services, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $20 million in new funding from The Carlyle Group and H.I.G. Ventures.

Founded in 1989, Temecula, Calif.-based REVShare offers a service whereby advertisers specify a price they are willing to pay per response -- in this case, when a TV viewer calls a toll-free number or visits a website.

The company has relationships with over 1,500 local market TV stations, cable systems, syndicators and networks, who offer its service for mainly infomercial-type programs.

REVShare, which has been profitable since its inception, said the new funds will enable it to attract new customers and accelerate growth.
