Live Online Video Broadcaster Ustream.TV Raises Funds

Los Altos, Calif. - Ustream.TV, a Web-based, live video broadcasting platform, announced on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed sum of additional funding, from Western Technology Investors, the Band of Angels, and other angel investors.

Since its launch in March, Los Altos, Calif.-based Ustream says that more than 115,000 people have broadcast a combined one million viewer hours per month, with 5,000 hours of talks shows, political speeches, concerts, sporting events and other video now broadcast through the site daily.

The company was co-founded by two U.S. military veterans, and recently named General Wesley Clark to its board of advisors.
