Los Angeles - Goodreads, a social networking site where users discuss the books they're reading, announced that it has raised an undisclosed sum of new funding from angel investors, led by James Currier, founder of Ooga Labs and Tickle.com.

Also participating in the round were Bebo founder Michael Birch; Military.com founder Chris Michel; Userplane founder Mike Jones; True Ventures; and Ooga Labs co-founder Stan Chudnovsky.

Los Angeles-based Goodreads says it now counts 600,000 members, who have added 10 million books to the discussion.
