Avid Technology, Inc. today announced that Gary Greenfield has been named chairman of the board and chief executive officer (CEO) effective immediately. Greenfield succeeds Nancy Hawthorne, who has served as interim CEO since August 1 and will assume the role of lead director on the company’s Board.

Today Ubisoft, a video game publisher, announced that Rick Wilcoxen has joined the company as its new vice president of sales. Wilcoxen brings more than 30 years of experience driving millions in sales for music industry giants Sony BMG and BMG. He recently served as senior vice president of national sales at Sony BMG Music Entertainment. Wilcoxen will be reporting to Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, and will be responsible for managing Ubisoft’s national sales team and expanding Ubisoft’s sales organization in the U.S.

Dan Miron has been named Executive Vice President, Worldwide Supply Chain Management and Richard Siao has been named Senior Vice President, Sales Planning & Operations, it was announced today by Mark Horak, Warner Home Video. In his new post, Miron will oversee Warner Home Video's worldwide supply chain strategy and process, which includes mastering and pre-production, procurement of manufacturing and distribution services and integrating new home entertainment business models into the existing supply chain.
