Malibu, Calif. - Toy and video game maker Jakks Pacific (NASD: JAKK) announced on Thursday that a federal judge has dismissed all federal claims brought against the company by World Wrestling Entertainment (NYSE: WWE), over video games created for the company by Jakks.

"The dismissal by the Federal Court of the action brought by WWE is a decisive legal victory for Jakks," said company chairman and CEO Jack Friedman.

"All of WWE's claims in the federal forum chosen, with great fanfare by WWE, including RICO, Robinson-Patman and Sherman Antitrust, have now been thrown out of court by a Federal judge."

WWE filed suit against Jakks in 2004, alleging that the company paid bribes to win its licensing contract to develop and publish wrestling video games.

WWE said in a statement that the federal court's ruling does not affect its state law claims against Jakks, which will now be transferred to and heard in state court.
