Korean Content Delivery Network CDNetworks Gets $96.5 Million

Seoul, South Korea - CDNetworks, a Korea-based provider of content delivery network services, announced that it has raised $96.5 million in new financing, led by Oak Investment Partners.

Shinhan Private Equity and Goldman Sachs International also participated.

Founded in 2000, CDNetworks claims to be the top provider of content delivery network services in Asia, and a top-three firm globally.

The company delivers content for game publishers, broadcasters, social networks and e-learning providers.

CDNetworks will use the new funding for international expansion.
