Web-based Media Storage Provider Nirvanix Raises $12 Million

San Diego - Nirvanix, a provider of Web-based media storage services, announced that it has received an investment from Intel Capital.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2007, San Diego-based Nirvanix provides businesses with storage services for user-generated content and other digital media, and counts over 100 customers.

The company announced a $12 million funding round earlier this year, from investors including Mission Ventures, Valhalla Partners and Windward Ventures.
