Santa Clara, Calif. - Macrovision (NASD: MVSN), a provider of anti-piracy technologies that also recently acquired content database firm All Media Guide, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with movie and TV show download service CinemaNow, to enable video content from CinemaNow to be downloaded directly to Macrovision-enabled devices such as digital TVs, set-top boxes and network attached storage devices.

The collaboration will allow consumers to register their Macrovision-enabled hardware at CinemaNow.com, and receive access to the company's online video library, which includes content from the major studios.
