Sony Pictures TV Launches Minisode Network on YouTube

Las Vegas - Sony Pictures Television (NYSE: SNE) announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube, to establish a number of ad-supported channels that will feature episodes of classic TV shows and other content. The first channel to launch is the Sony Minisode Network, which offers condensed episodes of 21 programs, including "Married With Children" and "NewsRadio." Sony added that its Minisode Network has recently begun acquiring programs from other companies, including a deal with World Events Productions, distributors of "Voltron" and "Saber Rider."
