Free Online Game Publisher Outspark Raises $11 Million

San Francisco - Outspark, a publisher of free online community games, announced on Thursday that it has raised $11 million in its second round of financing, led by Chinese Internet portal Tencent Holdings.

Existing investors DCM and Altos Ventures also participated in the round, which the company will use for growth, expansion and the enhancement of its current offerings.

San Francisco-based Outspark publishes free online games culled from a range of developer partners, including titles like "Fiesta" and "Secret of the Solstice."

The company said it has added over 1 million registered users in less than five months.
