Collinsville,
Conn. - Fanzter, an early-stage
new media development company, announced this week that it has raised an
undisclosed sum of first round financing, from investors including Richard
Barton, Second Avenue Partners, Curious Office Partners and multiple angel
investors.
Founded in June 2007, by a team that includes Aaron LaBerge, a
former SVP of technology and product development at ESPN, Connecticut-based
Fanzter says it is developing "consumer Internet products."
The company's
first product, Coolspotters.com, is currently in closed beta testing and is
expected to launch in early 2008.
