Apple, China Mobile Call iPhone Talks Off

Hong Kong - Apple (NASD: AAPL) and China Mobile, the country's largest mobile network operator with 350 million subscribers, have called off talks to partner for the iPhone launch in China, Reuters reported.

It's not clear as to whether the talks could be resumed at some point, but a China Mobile spokeswoman confirmed for Reuters that negotiations had been terminated.

The two companies have reportedly been at odds over issues including Apple's standard iPhone deal with operators that calls for the company to receive a portion of data revenues from its iPhone launch partners in various countries.
