Social Networking Tools Firm Big Tent Design Raises $5 Million

San Francisco - Big Tent Design, a developer of social networking tools for "trusted groups," has raised around $5 million in its first round of funding, from Menlo Ventures and Mohr Davidow Ventures, PEHub.com reported, citing a regulatory filing.

San Francisco-based Big Tent offers free social networking tools for community leaders to manage their various groups, which include parents' clubs, PTAs, neighborhood associations, church and alumni groups.
