San Bruno, Calif. - Google's (NASD: GOOG) YouTube video-sharing site announced on Thursday that it has expanded access to the tens of millions of videos on its site, via mobile phones on 3G networks that accept streaming video files.

Such devices will also be able to upload videos to the site.

The company's site is partially already accessible from a small number of mobile phones, including Apple's iPhone, the Helio, and some devices offered by Verizon Wireless.

The beta version of the YouTube for Mobile application is now available via a free downloadable Java application for a limited number of mobile phones, including the Sony Ericsson k800, w880, Nokia e65, n95, n73, 6110 navigator and 6120 classic.
