U.K. High Court Keeps Ban on Sale of Rockstar's "Manhunt 2"

London - "Manhunt 2," a violent game from Take-Two Interactive's (NASD: TTWO) Rockstar Games, is once again banned from sale in Britain, after the High Court there ordered a government agency to reconsider its ruling that overturned an earlier ban on the game, GamesIndustry.biz reported.

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) first ruled that the game could not be sold in the country; Rockstar then won an appeal of that ruling before the BBFC's Video Appeals Committee.

The High Court said the Video Appeals Committee made an "error of law" when interpreting the definition of "harm" too narrowly, and must now reconsider its decision.
