London - IAC's (NASD: IACI) Ticketmaster announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Get Me In, a London-based Web marketplace for secondary ticket sales in Europe.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Launched in 2003, Get Me In operates a secondary ticket marketplace for music, sports, theatre and other live events in the U.K. and Europe, and says it has served over 50,000 customers.

Ticketmaster said the deal represents a major expansion of its European ticket resale business, and plans to create an integrated platform where consumers will be able to simultaneously review and compare ticket availability and pricing in both the primary and resale categories.
