Entertainment Site Batanga Acquires Ad Network HispanoClick

Miami - Batanga, an online media and entertainment firm targeting Latinos, announced on Friday that it has acquired HispanoClick, an online Hispanic advertising network that reaches over 5.6 million unique U.S. users per month.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

HispanoClick works with over 800 Hispanic publishers to monetize their U.S. traffic; clients have included Verizon Wireless, Kraft, Western Union and the U.S. Army.

Founded in 1999, Batanga claims over 5.5 million unique monthly visitors for its Latin music and entertainment destination, which hosts over 50,000 music stations programmed by U.S. Hispanics.
