Dulles, Va. - In the second acquisition for its Platform-A advertising arm in as many days, AOL (NYSE: TWX) on Tuesday said that it has acquired buy.at, an independent affiliate network that provides advertisers and publishers a platform for e-commerce marketing programs.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

buy.at, which has offices in the U.K. and New York, will operate as a unit of Advertising.com, part of Platform-A.

"This acquisition further enhances our Platform-A advertising offerings by enabling us to offer a new set of advertiser and publisher products, while also supporting our international strategy," said Randy Falco, the chairman and CEO of AOL.

Founded in 2002 and backed by DFJ Esprit, buy.at is a network that lets publishers partner with merchants to help drive consumers to those companies' websites.

AOL on Monday announced its acquisition of San Diego-based Goowy Media, the developer of a technology platform and related analytics tools for widget creation, syndication and reporting.
