U.K. Music Publishing Firm Kobalt Lands $16 Million

London - Kobalt Music Group, a U.K.-based music publishing firm whose roster includes Moby and Eminem's Eight Mile Style, has raised $16 million in a second round of funding led by Balderton Capital, PEHub.com reported.

Previous investor Spark Ventures also participated.

Founded in 2000 by Telegram Publishing founder Willard Ahdritz, Kobalt administers more than 100,000 copyrights worldwide on behalf of over 500 clients.
