Emeryville, Calif. - TurnHere, a provider of online video production and distribution, and Internet video advertising services, announced on Thursday that it has raised $7.5 million in venture capital financing, from Venrock and Hearst Interactive Media.

Founded in 2005, Emeryville, Calif.-based TurnHere provides Web video production and distribution services to media, publishing, travel, real estate, education, financial services and retail clients, including CondeNet, Discovery Networks and Simon & Schuster.

The company counts more than 3,200 professional filmmakers in its network, who create affordable Internet videos for the company's clients.

TurnHere will use the funds to develop new online video products and services for its customers, as well as enhanced tools for its filmmaker network and in-house production team.
