Los Angeles - Billionaire investor George Soros has paid $100 million for a 3% stake in Reliance Entertainment, a multi-platform entertainment provider in India, which was valued at $3.3 billion for the deal.

Reliance, which is controlled by billionaire Anil Dirubhai, has operations in the film, radio, satellite TV and Internet sectors.

The company's holdings include Big Flicks, an online movie rental service; social networking service Big Adda; games portal Zapak; and mobile entertainment distributor Jump Mobile.
