U.K. Secondary Ticket Exchange Seatwave Lands $25 Million

London - Seatwave, a fan-to-fan, online ticket exchange company based in London, announced that it has raised a $25 million third round of venture capital, led by Fidelity Ventures.

Other investors in the deal include Atlas Venture, Mangrove Capital Partners and Adinvest.

Seatwave was launched in 2007 by its CEO, Joe Cohen, who formerly held senior executive positions in the international businesses of Ticketmaster and Match.com, global brands owned by IAC/InterActiveCorp.

The company, which listed more than 1.7 million tickets for events in 38 countries last year, said it will use the funds to offer its service for more events in more countries.
