Montreal - Vantrix, a provider of mobile video delivery technology, has raised $5.25 million in new financing from MMV Financial, VentureWire reported.

Montreal-based Vantrix offers services for delivering video-on-demand, live TV, video alerts, user-generated content, video-sharing and other multimedia to mobile devices for customers including ABC News, Orange, T-Mobile and The Weather Channel.

The company will use the funds to bolster its sales and marketing, engineering and research and development efforts.
