Los Angeles - CraveOnline, a men's entertainment site, announced on Monday that it has acquired GameRevolution, a provider of video game news and reviews, for an undisclosed sum.

Los Angeles-based CraveOnline, a unit of online media company AtomicOnline, offers content related to movies, TV, music, sports, games, cars and humor, targeted at the online male youth market.

Founded in 1996, GameRevolution claims hundreds of thousands of daily visitors to its site.

"Tapping into Crave's creative and technological resources will allow us to expand the site's coverage and place powerful new online tools in the hands of the gaming community to advance our leadership position and attract top brand advertisers who wish to connect with our highly engaged audience," said GameRevolution managing editor Duke Ferris.
