Content Delivery Network Panther Express Lands $15.75 Million

New York - Panther Express, a provider of digital content delivery network services, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $15.75 million in second round funding, led by Index Ventures.

Gold Hill Capital, and previous investors Greylock Partners also participated.

Co-founded in 2005 by former DoubleClick CEO Kevin Ryan, New York-based Panther Express provides its services to over 250 clients in the video and audio delivery, podcasting, ad serving, Web hosting, gaming and social networking markets.

The company will use the funds to invest in infrastructure and international expansion.
