Ad Software Firm WideOrbit Raises New Funding Round

San Francisco - WideOrbit, a developer of software designed to help media companies simplify and automate the process of selling and billing advertising, said on Thursday that it has raised an undisclosed amount in a new round of funding from Khosla Ventures, Greycroft Partners and Hearst Ventures.

The San Francisco-based company said that it will use the proceeds to develop new software products and expand both domestically and internationally.

WideOrbit's core software product, WO Traffic, is currently implemented by more than 900 television stations, radio stations and cable networks, and also manages advertising for movie theaters, mobile devices and digital display networks.
