Dragonfly Lands $3 Million for Video Content Delivery Network

New York - Dragonfly, a provider of Internet video distribution services, announced on Thursday that it has raised $3 million in funding from a group of strategic individual investors.

New York-based Dragonfly's service lets companies publish, track, monetize and analyze video on their websites, claiming to enable mid-sized companies to deliver high-quality video at budget-friendly prices.

It is also working with its partner network to create video portals for trade associations looking to bring their membership together on the Web for revenue sharing opportunities.

Customers include American Business Media, Nielsen, Hilton Hotels and Star Trek New Voyages.

The company will use the funds to enhance its multimedia content delivery network.
