Motricity to Cut 250 Jobs, Move HQ to Washington

Durham, N.C. - Motricity, a provider of mobile content delivery services, has announced that it will cut 250 jobs over the next nine months.

The announcement comes following Motricity's acquisition of InfoSpace Mobile.

In addition, the company said it is consolidating office locations and moving its corporate headquarters from Durham, N.C. to Bellevue, Wash.

"The steps we're taking to quickly integrate the two companies will position us very well for accelerated growth, while offering greater discipline and a more focused approach for our customers," said Ryan Wuerch, chairman and CEO of Motricity.
