Los Angeles - Break Media, the operator of male-focused entertainment site Break.com, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Wall Street Fighter, a business news and financial humor website with more than 500,000 unique monthly visitors.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"On a daily basis, Wall Street Fighter provides business news in an entertaining, unique style that really resonates with 18-34-year-old men," said Break CEO Keith Richman.

"Acquiring Wall Street Fighter expands the type of compelling content we offer to this group and further enables advertisers to reach this elusive male target."

Los Angeles-based Break Media recently debuted an online ad network of third-party sites that target the same young male demographic, and announced development of several new websites of its own.
