Luxembourg - European music-focused social network MusicMakesFriends.com announced on Wednesday that it has signed licensing deals with major record labels Universal Music, Sony BMG and EMI, to make their entire catalogs available for streaming on its service.

Currently available in nine European countries, including the U.K., MusicMakesFriends.com charges about $13.85 per month for unlimited streaming of the user-generated playlists of other members of the service, and also offers a free, ad-supported version.

With the new deals, the service says it will offer a catalog of more than 1.5 million tracks, including some from independent labels licensed through The Orchard.
