Mountain View,
Calif. - Skyrider, a developer of
monetization technology for peer-to-peer networks, has raised $5 million in new
financing, from previous investors Sequoia Capital, Charles River Ventures and
Velocity Interactive Group, VentureBeat reports.

Skyrider is developing technology that can be used to insert ads on
peer-to-peer file-sharing networks.
The company has previously raised $8
million and $12 million financing rounds since its founding in 2006.
