Rapid Mobile Media Lands $4 Million for Mobile Ad Platform

Edinburgh, Scotland - Rapid Mobile Media, a provider of mobile advertising and applications, announced on Thursday that it has raised about $4 million in its second round of financing, led by New Enterprise Associates.

New investor Alliance Trust Equity Partners, and previous investors Pentech Ventures and the Scottish Venture Fund also participated.

Scotland-based Rapid Mobile Media's Ad360 platform provide management of mobile ad campaigns, while its Active Provisioning platform allow for rapid deployment of any type of service to mobile devices.

The company will use the funds to accelerate commercial deployment of its technologies.
