Giant Realm Gets $3.5M for Male-focused Entertainment Sites

New York - Giant Realm, on online network of video game and entertainment sites, announced on Monday that it has raised a new $3.5 million found of financing, led by Comcast Interactive Capital.

Previous investor Edison Venture Fund also participated.

New York-based Giant Realm claims that its network of sites targeted at 16-34 year-old males, which includes FilmCritic.com, FirstShowing.net and ICGamers, draws over 3.75 million unique monthly visitors, according to comScore Media Metrix.

The funds will be used to further develop its online publisher group and own destination site, as well as to expand sales and marketing teams.
