San Francisco - iBloks, a company which creates rich media ads, is in the process of raising a third funding round of up to $2.1 million from Maveron Equity Partners and MEP Associates, according to the website VentureBeat.

iBloks was launched in August 2005 as a site for mixing different media like games and video, reports VentureBeat, but has since changes focus to help advertisers like Microsoft, Playphone, Sak’s Fifth Avenue and Warner Brothers create rich media advertising.

iBloks publicly launched its InstantAd tool earlier this month, which lets an advertiser start with a sample ad or template and then use the tool to type in your own URLs and messages, then upload and drag in videos and other media content. The InstantAd toll can then be made viral through embedded code or distributed through online advertising networks.
