WebVisible Lands $12 Million for Local Online Ad Service

Irvine, Calif. - WebVisible, a provider of local online advertising services, announced on Monday that it has received $12 million in second round funding, led by Sutter Hill Ventures with participation from previous backer Redpoint Ventures.

Irvine, Calif.-based WebVisible's platform manages interactive ad campaigns for small and mid-sized businesses.

Partners include AT&T, The McClatchy Company, Earthlink and British Telecom.

The company will use the funds for product development, strengthen its reseller channels and sales penetration, and to continue international growth.
