Start-up Database TradeVibes Gets $900K, Debuts Beta

Mountain View, Calif. - Mill River Labs has raised $900,000 in seed funding for TradeVibes, a database of information on start-up technology companies, from investors including Ron Conway, Dave McClure, the Kinsey Hills Group and Felicis Ventures, VentureBeat reported.

Mountain View, Calif.-based TradeVibes is organized as a wiki, where any user can add or update information on a company profile.

The site, which launched its public beta on Monday, tracks news stories and analysts' coverage, and also offers tools such as automatic comparison of a start-up's Web traffic with that of its competitors.
