Senior CDN Software Engineer - EdgeCast Networks, Los Angeles

EdgeCast Networks is seeking an experienced C/C++ developer to work closely with a team of developers to develop the "next generation" of content delivery products.

You will work on various aspects of network server technology across a vast
global network with hundreds of servers. Must be able to work in a fast
paced development environment where the goal is to get from idea to
implementation as quickly as possible, while maintaining high stability and
robustness. This team member will maintain and modify existing software
applications in addition to creating cutting edge web delivery and storage
applications.

Experience:
* Several years of software development experience
* Experience with client server applications such as web servers.
* Extensive network programming experience in C/C++ in a Linux environment
is a must
* Experience with Parallel File Systems, Shared Storage systems, and Shared
Files systems is required.
* Systems concepts including RPCs and multi-threading
Compilation/translation including parsing, optimization, and code
generation.
* Excellent debugging skills (including memory debugging and management)
* Experience and enthusiasm for Scrum, or other Agile methodologies is a
huge plus.

Requirements

* Manage multiple deliverables against aggressive deadlines
* Demonstrates leadership and team building capabilities
Must be authorized to work in United States

Education
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (Ph.D. a plus).

Location:
Must be able to work at company headquarters in Los Angeles CA 90025.
