Los Angeles - Modelina, a stealth-mode site that will focus on supermodels, has received around $5 million in financing from Polaris Venture Partners, PaidContent.org reported.

Los Angeles-based Modelina was founded by Desiree Gruber, an executive producer on Bravo's fashion reality TV show "Project Runway," and also founder of public relations firm Full Picture -- which counts Project Runway host and supermodel Heidi Klum as a client.

While Klum's involvement has not been confirmed, the report says Victoria's Secret models Alessandra Ambrosia and Adriana Lima have signed on to participate.
